Structural and Safety Testing
MGA has a wide range of equipment designed specifically for running various types of safety tests. This includes equipment to conduct tests ranging from a single cylinder loading to a full vehicle crush sequence. MGA’s control system is a closed-loop control system using either force or displacement feed back. Specific control functions can be programmed into the control software to meet specific requirements. Testing capabilities related to FMVSS 214 (Side impact protection) and FMVSS 216 (Roof crush resistance) are available at the Troy laboratories. MGA also offers full vehicle crash testing at the Wisconsin Proving Grounds.

As with all MGA facilities, a full array of OEM (foreign and domestic) test procedures are available. All facilities are A2LAaccredited and an experienced staff is available to assist you with your testing needs.
