Test Services
MGA supportsautomakersandsuppliersthrough professional and timely test services related to vehicle/component certification, FMVSS evaluation, DVPR validation, product life simulation, and test procedure development. A large library of government and OEM procedures are available with test equipment tailored to meet specific requirements. Safety servicesinclude acomplete range oftestingpertainingto airbags, seats, restraints, and energy management systems. Structural equipment includes a full array of quasi-static, closed-loop, servo control systems designed to operate under either force or displacement control. These systems range from cylinders intended to apply small loads to a full-vehicle static crush test machine. Structural systems used for dynamic testing include a various sized dynamicimpact systems, and two acceleratorsleds used tosimulatefullvehicle side and frontal crashes.
A series of Durability/Life Cycle test machines includes power and pneumatic cylinder systems, Multi-Axis Simulation Tables (MAST) for vibration testing, programmable robotsfor intricate life cycle evaluations, load durability cycling, and various equipmentdesigned for specific test procedures. Multiple environmental chambers are available for testing which require extreme temperature/humidity cycling conditions. Various materialtest machines are available to test to hundreds of specifications needed by various industries. This array of equipment results in the capabilities to conduct most testsrelated to vehicle doors, trunks, hoods, seats, latches, interior components, andengine/driveline components.
